This policy explains what personal data Caatoo Exim ("we", "us") collects when you use caatooexim.com, our web app and our connector for AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, and how we use it.
1. Data we collect
Account data: your name, email address, phone number (if you sign up with it) and sign-in details, including data from Google when you choose Google sign-in.
Business profile data: company name, products, HS codes, target markets and other details you enter to personalise matches.
Usage data: searches, saved leads, saved searches, credit usage, device and browser information, and log data used to keep the service secure.
Payment data: handled by our payment partner. We receive the payment status, plan and billing country, never your full card number.
2. Trade and contact data in the platform
Company and shipment information comes from public customs and trade records. Business contact details (names, job titles, work emails, business phone numbers, public profile links) are sourced from third-party business-data providers and public websites for legitimate B2B outreach.
If you appear in our data and want it corrected or removed, email info@caatooexim.com and we will act within 30 days.
3. How we use data
To provide the service: run searches, rank matches, find contacts, write AI drafts and store your leads.
To manage your account, credits, billing and support requests.
To protect the service, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms.
To send service messages and, if you opt in, product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your private leads or business profile to train public AI models.
4. AI assistant connector
When you connect Caatoo Exim to Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant, you sign in and approve access. The connector only reads data your account can already see (trader search, HS codes, your saved leads). It cannot spend credits or change your data.
The assistant provider processes your prompts and the results we return under its own privacy policy. You can revoke access at any time from the assistant's connector settings.
5. Service providers
We use trusted processors for hosting and database, authentication, AI models, web research, contact enrichment, messaging (SMS/WhatsApp verification) and payments. They process data only on our instructions.
6. Retention and security
We keep account data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of an account-deletion request, except records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted per user through row-level security, and payment details are held only by our payment partner.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent by emailing info@caatooexim.com. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act or CCPA) you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
